The Order Of Mass


The Introductory Rites

The Introductory Rites help the faithful come together as one, establish communion and prepare themselves to listen to the Word of God and to celebrate the Eucharist worthily.
All stand. The Priest approaches the altar with the ministers and venerates it while the Entrance Song is sung.
Sign of the Cross

All make the Sign of the Cross as the Priest says:
Báp aur Beṭe aur Rúhu’l Quds ke nám men
Ámín.
Greeting

Hamare Khudáwand Yisu Masíh ká fazl,
Khudá kí muhabbat,
aur Rúhu’l Quds kí shirákat
áp ke sáth ho.
Or:
Ab sálamatí ká Khudáwand áp ko hamesha har tarah kí sálamatí bakhshe aur áp ke sáth ho.
Or:
 Khudáwand áp ke sáth ho
Áp ke sáth bhí ho.

Penitential Act

The Priest invites the faithful to the Penitential Act.
Then one of the Penitential Acts follows:

Main Qádir I Mutlaq Khudá,
aur áp ke sámne, iqrár kartá hun,
 ki main ne apne khiyálon, báton aur kámon,
niz ghaflat se, beshumár gunáh kiye hain.

Is liye main Muqaddasá Mariyam hamesha kunwárí,
sab firishton aur muqaddason,
aur áp se bhí, iltimás kartá hun,
ki Khudáwand hamáre Khudá se,
mere liye du‘á karen.

Ai Khudáwand ham gunáhghar hain
Hamen apní rahmat dekhá

Ai Khudáwand apní Rahmat ham par záhir kar
Aur hamen naját atá farmá

The Gloria

When indicated this hymn is either sung or said:
‘Álam-i-bálá par Khudá ko jalál,
Aur zamín par nek níyat ádmíon ke liye salámatí.
Ai Khudáwand Khudá, ásmání bádsháh,
Khudá Qádir I Mutlaq Báp;

Tere azím jalál ke liye ham terí ta‘ríf karte hain.
Ham tujhe mubárak kahte hain,
Ham tujhe sijda karte hain,
Ham terí parastish karte hain,
Ham terá shukr karte hain,

Ai Khudáwand iklaute Beṭe, Yisú‘ Masíh,

The Collect

When this hymn is concluded, the Priest, says:
Ham du‘á karen.
And all pray in silence with the Priest for a while.
Then the Priest says the Collect prayer, at the end of which the people acclaim:

Ámín.
The Liturgy of the Word

By hearing the word proclaimed in worship, the faithful again enter into the unending dialogue between God and the covenant people, a dialogue sealed in the sharing of the Eucharistic food and drink.
First Reading

To indicate the end of the reading, the reader acclaims:
Pák kalám ke paṛhe aur sune jáne par Khudá kí barkat ho.
Khudá ká shukr ho.
Psalm

After the First Reading the psalmist or cantor sings or says the Psalm, with the people making the response.
Second Reading

On Sundays and certain other days there is a second reading. It concludes with the same response as above.
Gospel 
all stand

The assembly stands to sing the Gospel Acclamation to welcome the Gospel. They remain standing in honour of the Gospel reading, the high point of the Liturgy of the Word.
Khudáwand áp ke sáth ho.
Áp ke sáth bhí ho.
Injíl I Muqaddas ..N  ke mutábiq.
Ai Khudáwand, terí tamjíd ho.
At the end of the Gospel, the Deacon, or the Priest, acclaims:
Injíl I Muqaddas ke wasíle se hamárí khatáen mu‘áf kí jáen.
Ai Masíh, terí sitáish ho.

The Homily 
all sit

At the end of the Homily it is appropriate for there to be a brief silence for recollection.

The Creed 
all stand

On Sundays and Solemnities, the Profession of Faith or Creed will follow. During Lent and Easter Time, especially, the Apostles’ Creed may be used.
The Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed

Main ímán rakhtá hun ek hí Khudá Qádir I Mutlaq Báp par,
jo ásmán aur zamín,
aur sab dekhí aur an-dekhí chízon ká banánewálá hai.
Aur ek hí Khudáwand Yisu‘ Masíh par ímán rakhtá hun,
jo Khudá ká iklautá Beṭá hai,
Wuh sab zamánon se pahile Báp se paidá húá,
Wuh Khudá se Khudá, núr se núr, sachche Khudá se sachcha Khudá hai.

The Prayer of the Faithful

After each intention there is a pause while the faithful pray.
Ham míl kar du‘á karen.
Ai Khudá Hámarí sun.
The Priest concludes the Prayer with a collect.
When the Liturgy of the Word has been completed, the people sit.

The Liturgy of the Eucharist

For Catholics, the Eucharist is the source and summit of the whole Christian life. It is the vital centre of all that the Church is and does, because at its heart is the real presence of the crucified, risen and glorified Lord, continuing and making available his saving work among us.

During the Offertory Song the gifts of bread and wine are brought in procession. The Priest offers the prayers of blessing quietly at the altar. If the priest says the prayers aloud the assembly’s acclamation each time is:
Hamesha se hamesha tak Khudá Mubárak ho.
The Priest completes additional personal preparatory rites, and the people rise as he says:
‘Azízon, du‘á karen ki
hamárí yih qurbání
Khudá Qádir I Mutlaq Báp
ke huzúr men maqbúl ho

Khudáwand is qurbání ko ap ke háthon se
apne nám kí baráí ke liye,
aur hamáre balkih apni sárí Kalísiyá ke
fáide ke liye manzúr farmáe.
Then the Priest says the Prayer over the Offerings, at the end of which the people acclaim:
Ámín.

The Eucharistic Prayer

Khudáwand áp ke sáth ho.
Áp ke sáth bhí ho

Ham Khudá ke taraf dhiyán lagáhin.
Ham dhiyán lagáte hain.
Ham Khudáwand apne Khudá ká shukr karen.
Ye wájib aur durust hai.
The Priest concludes the Preface with the people, singing
Quddús, Quddús, Quddús, Khudáwand, lashkaronKhudá;
Ásmán aur zamín tere jalál se ma‘múr hain.
‘Álam i bálá par Hosha‘ná.
Mubárak hai wuh jo Khudáwand ke Nám se átá hai :
‘Álam i bálá par Hosha‘ná.
The Priest continues with the Eucharistic Prayer.
After the words of Consecration the priest says:

The mystery of faith.
Ai Khudáwand, ham terí maut ká elán karte hain,
Ham terí qiyámat ká iqrár karte hain: Jab tak ki tú na áe.
Or
Ai Khudáwand, jitní bar ham yih roṭí kháte
Aur is piyále men se píte hain, Ham itní bár terí maut ká elán karte hain,
Jab tak kih tú na áe.
Or
Ai duniyá ke bacháne wále, hamen bachá:
Is liye ki tú ne salíb par mar kar, Aur murdon men se zinda ho kar
Hamen makhlasí bakhshí hai.
At the conclusion of the prayer the Priest takes the chalice and the paten with the host and, raising both, he says:
Usí ke zarí‘e, usí ke sáth, aur usí men,
Tujh Qádir I Mutlaq Khudá Báp ko
Rúhu’l Quds kí wahdaniyyat men
Kámil ‘izzat aur ta‘zím sháyan hai
Hamesha se hamesha tak.
Ámín.

The Communion Rite

The Lord’s Prayer 
all stand

Ham du‘á karen…. jo us Khudáwand ne hamen sikháya hai:
Ai hamáre Báp tú jo ásmán par hai           
Terá nám pák máná jáe terí bádsháhí áe
Terí marzí jaise ásmán par púrí hotí hai,
Zamín par bhí ho.
Hamáre rozinah kí roṭí áj hamen de
Aur jís tarah ham apne qarzdáron ko bakhste hain
Tú hamáre qarz hamen bakhsh
Aur hamen ázmáish men na parne de balki hamen buráí se bachá

Ai Khudá, ham tujh se minnat karte….
har waqt gunáhon se ázád aur musíbat se mahfúz rahen

Kyúnki bádsháhat,
qudrat aur jalál
hamesha terá hí hai.

The Peace

Ai Khudáwand Yisú‘ Masíh, tu ne apne Rasúlon se kahá kih:…
jo terí marzí ke mutábiq hai.
Ámín.

Khudáwand kí salámatí har waqt áp par ho.
Áp par bhí ho.
Ham ek dúsre kí salámatí cháhen.
All offer one another the customary sign of peace.

The Breaking of the Bread

The priest takes the host and breaks it, as the following is sung or said:
Ai Khudá ke Barre, tú jo jahán ke gunáhon ko uṭhá le játá hai: Ham par rahm kar.
Ai Khudá ke Barre, tú jo jahán ke gunáhon ko uṭhá le játá hai: Ham par rahm kar.
Ai Khudá ke Barre, tú jo jahán ke gunáhon ko uṭhá le játá hai: Hamen Salámatí ‘ináyat kar.

Invitation to Communion 
all kneel

After his private prayers of preparation the Priest genuflects, takes the host and, holding it slightly raised above the paten or above the chalice says aloud:

Yih hai Khudá ká Barra,
Jo jahán ke gunáhon ko uṭhá le játá hai.
Mubárak hain wuh jo Barre kí ziyáfat men buláe gáe.

Ai Khudáwand, main is láiq nahín ki tú mere han áe,
Lekin tú sirf kah de,
To merí rúh shifá páegí.


Communion
The communicants come forward in reverent procession, and make a preparatory act of reverence by bowing their head in honour of Christ’s presence in the Sacrament.
Masíh Ká Badan (Khún).
Ámín.
After the distribution of Communion, if appropriate, a sacred silence may be observed for a while, or a psalm or other canticle of praise or a hymn may be sung.

Prayer after Communion

Ham du‘á Karen.
All pray in silence. Then the Priest says the Prayer after Communion, at the end of which the people acclaim:
Ámín.

The Concluding Rites
The Concluding Rites send the people forth to put into effect in their lives what they have received.
Blessing

Khudáwand áp ke sáth ho.
Áp ke sáth bhí ho.
Qádir I Mutlaq Khudá,
Báp aur Beṭe aur Rúhu’l Quds
kí barakat X sab par názil ho
Ámín.

Dismissal

Then the Deacon, or the Priest says:
‘Ibádat ho chukí, salámatí se jáen. Or:
‘Ibádat ho chukí, salámatí se jáen aur Khudáwand kí khushkhabarí dúsron tek pahuncháen.

Khudá ká shukr ho.
